Every campaign deserves a strong operational foundation.

Long before I worked in politics, I learned that great work rarely happens by accident.

In television production, dozens of departments had to make thousands of decisions under impossible deadlines. The control room was where those decisions became one coordinated plan.

Campaigns aren't all that different.

What I Believe

Respect people's intelligence.

People are smarter than they're often given credit for. Whether I'm talking to voters, audiences, or campaign teams, I'd rather explain something clearly than make it sound complicated. Good communication doesn't simplify people—it simplifies complexity.

Build systems before you need them.

The best campaign decisions happen long before they're urgent. Good infrastructure creates the time and space to make them well.

Candidates should talk to voters.

Candidates should spend their time talking to voters, building relationships, and leading their campaign—not chasing spreadsheets or solving administrative problems.

Good operations create better decisions.

Strong operations don't create bureaucracy. They create clarity, accountability, and the confidence to keep moving forward when plans change.

Campaigns are built by people.

Every campaign succeeds because people show up—for candidates, for causes, and for one another. Good infrastructure exists to support those people, not replace them.

A Little Background

Beyond Campaigns

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time reading, writing, producing a daily news podcast, and building things that help people understand complicated systems a little better.

Why Democrats?

I don't believe every campaign needs to look the same, but I do believe every Democratic candidate deserves access to great infrastructure—not just the ones running the biggest races.

The strongest campaigns aren't always the ones with the biggest budgets. They're the ones with clear priorities, strong infrastructure, and teams that can stay focused when the pressure builds.

That's the work Control Room Strategies was built to do.

If that sounds like the kind of campaign you want to build, I'd love to talk.

Let’s talk.

Whether you're launching your first campaign or looking to strengthen an existing one, I'd love to learn more about what you're building.
